Colt is also an underlying voice provider for many of the content and cloud collaboration tools that are being used, which Gilder said elevated the need for better performance and more APIs on its next generation platforms.
“This past year has truly highlighted the value of delivering voice and network services quickly and seamlessly,” Gilder said, according to a statement in Tuesday’s press release. “As the world changed dramatically, we saw first-hand the increasing need for voice services, which were critical for enterprises who needed to shift their operations to remote working almost overnight. Our customers benefited in these times by working with one supplier who could deliver a complete Intelligent Communications solution, enabling the collaboration tools needed for today’s digital workplace.”
“Colt’s investment in its Intelligent Communications offering will continue to pay dividends, as more and more enterprises transition to Microsoft Teams as their primary collaboration and communication cloud-based platform.”
