22 Oct PCTEL Announces 4G/5G Dynamic Spectrum Sharing Testing
LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–PCTEL, Inc. (Nasdaq: PCTI) announced at MWC Los Angeles new testing capabilities to support 4G/5G Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) and accelerate 5G New Radio (NR) rollouts. Dynamic spectrum sharing enables operators to use the same spectrum for both 4G LTE and 5G NR. PCTEL scanning receivers simultaneously test both 4G LTE and 5G NR coverage and signal quality so that operators can deploy dynamic spectrum sharing with confidence.

4G/5G dynamic spectrum sharing testing is available on new and existing HBflex™ and IBflex® scanning receivers. HBflex scanning receivers also support mmWave 5G NR deployments with fast measurement rates suitable for full-speed drive testing.
