Syncfusion Releases Essential Studio 2019 Volume 3

Latest version helps mobile developers get to market faster
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Syncfusion, Inc., the developer solutions company of choice, announced today the release of Essential Studio 2019 Volume 3. This release delivers .NET Core 3.0 compatibility, a new Spreadsheet control for the Essential JS 2 suite, ten new controls for Xamarin.Forms for WPF, and much more.

“For our third release of the year, we homed in on giving web and mobile developers more extraordinary controls for building high-performance apps and adding a wider depth of features to our existing controls,” said Daniel Jebaraj, vice president of Syncfusion. “These new controls will help mobile developers get to market faster and help them enter the desktop app space using their current skill set. All told, 2019 Volume 3 delivers excellent new features across all development platforms.”

Volume 3 expands Syncfusion’s industry-leading Xamarin.Forms offering with previews of new Rich Text Editor, Avatar View, Effects View, and Shimmer controls; image filters for the Image Editor control; Visual Studio extensions to accelerate project creation with Syncfusion Xamarin controls; and more.

The nascent line of Xamarin.Forms for WPF controls by Syncfusion also receives a significant update featuring more than 10 new controls, including ListView, Scheduler, Border, Button, Chips, Switch, Radio Button, CheckBox, and more. These UI tools help Xamarin developers build WPF desktop apps using their Xamarin know-how, effectively erasing the barriers between target platforms.

In addition to the new interactive Spreadsheet control, Essential JS 2 improvements include:

Support to visualize SSAS OLAP cubes in the Pivot Table control.

Multiregional and lasso selection features for the Charts control.

Support to freeze rows and columns in the TreeGrid control.

Form filling support in the PDF Viewer.

Rounding out the highlights of Volume 3 are a significant set of improvements for the file-format libraries to simplify working with proprietary document formats, and new controls and features for WPF development.
