Windstream Enterprise enhances customer portal

Windstream Enterprise announced a series of enhancements to its WE Connect customer portal, including upgraded visibility into status of orders in-flight and other capabilities.

The enterprise managed services provider also is enhancing the portal with new user interface navigation features that simplify OfficeSuite UC on-boarding, as well as a new dashboard widget to enable quicker management of voice services for customers.
These enhancements come after the service provider late last year added secure remote access management capabilities to the WE Connect portal. The carrier also has been integrating more SD-WAN management capabilities into the portal over the last year or so as it has become more focused on providing SD-WAN services for enterprises amid a rapidly expanding SD-WAN market. Windstream Enterprise achieved MEF 3.0 services certification for its SD-WAN offering earlier this month.

The MSP also recently launched its WE Connect Insights Engine, a deep-dive analytics capability intended to help its customers build historical records of their SD-WAN environments and proactively manage their networks and improve security.
“Because we’re constantly maintaining and modernizing our WE Connect portal, customers have the peace of mind they need to focus on their business, not on their network management software,” said Mark Winer, senior director of digital experience at Windstream Enterprise.

The company said the latest enhancements also will extend to the WE Connect Partners Portal for channel partners to help them more efficiently activate, support and manage their customer contracts.
